According to the Public Relations Office of the RWT Company, as part of its strategy to expand international operations and strengthen economic diplomacy, the company's senior management participated in the Third International Conference and Exhibition on International Transport Corridors: Connectivity and Development (ITTC 2024), held in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, on the occasion of the World Sustainable Transport Day.

Commenting on the company's international development strategy, Dr. Hassan Sedighi, CEO of the RWT Company, stated that expanding international activities has become one of the company's principal strategic priorities over the past year.

He emphasized that in today's globalized economy, where production, finance, and trade are increasingly interconnected, private companies must adopt modern economic diplomacy and innovative market development tools in order to strengthen their position in international markets.

During the event, the company's delegation held meetings with representatives of more than ten leading companies from Russia, China, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan to discuss expanding cooperation in freight transportation, exports, and transit operations through Iran's international railway corridors.

Dr. Sedighi noted that speaking at the international conference provided an important opportunity to introduce the RWT Company and promote its capabilities in international rail freight services. By highlighting the competitive advantages of Iran's strategic railway corridors and presenting the company's successful operational experience, the delegation was able to further strengthen the company's international brand and position among global logistics partners.

He also stressed Iran's strategic geographical location and the significant commercial advantages offered by the country's international rail corridors during an interview with one of Turkmenistan's television networks. According to Dr. Sedighi, encouraging regional governments to route a larger share of their trade through Iran's railway network, combined with continued governmental support for private logistics operators, will contribute significantly to expanding regional and global trade through Iran.

On the sidelines of the conference, Dr. Sedighi also met with the Deputy Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Turkmenistan to discuss challenges facing international rail transportation. Welcoming the proposals presented during the meeting, the Deputy Ambassador expressed the Embassy's full support for facilitating bilateral railway trade between Iran and Turkmenistan and pledged to assist in addressing existing obstacles.
