Railway Transportation Company, a public joint-stock company affiliated with the Railway Employees Savings Fund Institution of the Islamic Republic of Iran, is recognized as the leading private railway company in Iran.
Established in 1992, the company holds an International Freight Transportation License, membership in the Iranian International Transportation Companies Association, and membership in the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA). It is also certified under Quality Management Systems standards.
The company issues international railway consignment notes and transport documents, including CIM (TEA), SMGS, and FIATA transit documents.
