According to the Public Relations Office of the RWT Company, the company has been recognized as Iran’s leading RWT company in the latest edition of the country's Top 500 Companies (IMI-100) ranking.
Organized annually by the Industrial Management Institute (IMI) since 1998, the ranking evaluates Iran’s largest enterprises based on 33 key performance indicators, including sales revenue, profitability, exports, productivity, workforce size, liquidity, and market value.
The 27th Top Iranian Companies Conference was held on January 20, 2025, at the IRIB International Conference Center in Tehran, with the participation of the First Vice President of Iran, the Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade, the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Industries, Mines and Trade, and senior executives from leading public and private organizations.
According to the official results, the RWT Company secured first place among all railway transportation companies included in this year's ranking.
Based on total sales revenue—the primary criterion of the IMI ranking—the company was placed 265th among Iran's top 500 enterprises. It also ranked ninth among all transportation companies, including operators in the rail, road, maritime, and aviation sectors.
The IMI-100 ranking is published annually to enhance transparency in the country's business environment and provide a comprehensive assessment of the performance of Iran's largest enterprises.
One of the distinguishing features of this year's edition, introduced following a proposal by Iran's First Vice President, is that the analytical report accompanying the ranking will be submitted to relevant government agencies and Parliament to support national economic planning and policymaking.
