Railway Transportation Company (RWT) has launched its first fully dedicated block train service from China to Iran, marking a significant milestone in the company's international rail freight operations.
According to RWT's International Affairs and Public Relations Department, the train consists of 55 containers carrying various types of cargo and departed from China for Iran on September 6, 2026.
RWT has been actively transporting cargo between China and Iran since 2018 and has successfully moved thousands of tons of goods through this strategic rail corridor. While this shipment represents the company's 28th train operating on the China-Iran route, it is the first time that an entire train set has been exclusively organized and managed by RWT.
