Representatives of the RWT visited various sections of Shahid Rajaee Port.
According to the Public Relations Office of the RWT, on Thursday, 24 October 2025, Mr. Partovizad (Director of International Market Development), Mr. Alvarez (the company’s representative for container affairs from Russia), and Mr. Seyed Valizadeh (Senior Transport Expert) visited different sections of Shahid Rajaee Port in line with the development of international cooperation and the assessment of the port’s logistical capacities.
During this visit, which aimed to evaluate the infrastructure for loading and unloading containerized and non-containerized cargo and to identify cooperation opportunities in the field of international rail and maritime transportation, meetings were held with the port’s operational managers and representatives of companies active in maritime and container transportation. Discussions focused on improving rail-port connectivity, upgrading infrastructure, and expanding international cooperation.
It was also agreed that technical and operational negotiations regarding the development of transit corridors and the utilization of Shahid Rajaee Port’s capacities would continue.
