Coordination Meeting Between Railway Companies, Esfahan Steel Company, and Raw Material Suppliers

A meeting to review the conditions of rail transportation for raw materials and products of Esfahan Steel Company was held with the participation of senior managers of the RWT.

According to the Public Relations Office of the RWT, on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, a meeting was held to examine the issues and challenges related to rail transportation for the inbound raw materials and outbound products—particularly the export products of Esfahan Steel Company. The meeting took place in the conference hall of the CEO’s office of the complex and was attended by Mr. Sedighi (CEO) and Mr. Sheikhi (Director of Domestic Commerce) from the RWT, officials from the Islamic Republic of Iran Railways and Esfahan Steel Company, raw material suppliers, and representatives of railway transportation companies.

The meeting was organized with the aim of increasing the capacity for inbound raw materials, improving rail transportation planning, and facilitating the shipment of Esfahan Steel Company’s products to domestic and export markets.

During the session, participants discussed existing obstacles within the rail transportation chain, infrastructure limitations, issues related to wagon supply, and cargo transportation scheduling. Various solutions were proposed to address these challenges. Agreements were also reached among the parties, the implementation of which could play an effective role in improving the production, sales, and export conditions of Esfahan Steel Company.

At the conclusion of the meeting, appreciation was expressed for the cooperation and support of the officials of the RWT, the Islamic Republic of Iran Railways, railway transportation companies, and raw material suppliers, who have played an important role in maintaining the production activities of Esfahan Steel Company under the current challenging conditions.
